Text Message BioWhy, hello friend! You are one of fortunate few who have stumbled across my LJ. Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Kimi. I live with my parents in [South]Buffalo, New York. I enjoy my job at the Downtown Buffalo Library very much, but I don't want to work there forever. That is why I am going to SUNY University at Buffalo for a degree in Environmental Studies. If all goes as planned, I will be a certified vet tech after doing a two-year program, and will be welcomed with open arms to a zoo. That is when I think my real life will begin. You see, I ABSOLUTELY adore animals. There have always been pets running around my house. Animal Planet is on 24/7 in my bedroom. I love other species so much, I don't want to eat their dead flesh or wear fur that is rightfully their own. I am going to work in a zoo, even if I have to clean up elephant poop. And I will be happy doing it.
When I'm not playing with books at work or cramming my brain with [mostly]useless information, you can find me hanging out with any one of my many AMAZING friends, cuddling with my boyfriend that I am extremely in love with, reading about serial killers and vampires [I have a sadistic side], shopping, trying to make super cool outfits that match in incredible ways, watching TV Land with my mom, telling tasteless jokes to my father, playing Dora the Explorer with my niece, getting various areas of my body pierced and tattooed, playing DDR & Guitar Hero, listening to [a lot]of music, or surfing the internet. I'm not really a big party-er. I did that in high school and the summer before my first semester of college. I guess drinking and getting high is cool to a lot of people... well, I can't be a hypocrite- I'm a pretty sweet person when I drink & have a lot of fun... but some things are more important to me. Like being safe and finding other new and exciting things to do.
Since my freshman year in highschool, my mother has been battling breast cancer. It has spread since then, she's lost her hair, lost weight, and stayed in a hospital for lenghtly periods of time. However, with mine & my father's support, she's getting through it. She seriously is my best friend and I want her to stay here as long as possible. So if you read any insane & sorrowful entries from me, it's most likely because I'm so scared, even after close to 6 years.
That's my bio. I could list all the great music I enjoy listening to, and the books I love reading, and movies that are super sweet to watch, but these are always changing. And that's why I'm in communities. Look at those.
